Premier Brad Wall wrapped up week three of the provincial election campaign by attacking the NDP's election platform.

He told a group of supporters in Saskatoon Saturday that Dwain Lingenfelter has made $3 billion worth of campaign promises, plus at least $2 billion worth of uncosted promises. Some examples Wall gave of the "holes" in Lingenfelter's platform are promises of a First Nations revenue sharing agreement, wind power, a new traffic bridge in Prince Albert, and highway twinning projects.
Wall added the NDP platform is unrealistic, and would plunge the province back into massive deficits.

Meanwhile, Lingenfelter announced that an NDP government would provide $100 million over four years for municipal infrastructure, including help for communities to repair water and sewer plants, if elected on November 7th. He said the Sask Party hasn't shown the commitment needed to invest in communities, adding that capital transfers to municipalities over the last four years have remained mostly stagnant and unpredictable.
