The windchill warning for southwest Saskatchwean has ended.

An arctic system began moving through the region on Monday, dropping temperatures and producing windchill values of below -40.

At those values, frostbite can develop within a matter of minutes.

We are expecting windchill values to remain at very low levels tonight and into Friday. Environment Canada is projecting a windchill of -36 tonight and -28 on Friday.

Conditions should warm up on the weekend with a projected high of +4 on Saturday and -1 on Sunday.
