One of the summer's most anticipated festivals is currently seeking volunteers.

Windscape Kite Festival Organizer Shann Gowan explains how easy it is to volunteer.

"We do still need volunteers. I think we are about a third of the way. So were still desperatly looking for volunteers. All you have to do to volunteer at the Windscape Kite Festival is go to our website. Go to the volunteer tab and just follow the links and you can sign up right online."

Volunteers can choose their job and time that they wish to work, as well as whether they would like to be inside or outside.

Gowan adds that volunteering comes with perks.

"They all get a t-shirt, they get a water bottle. The shifts are either morning or afternoon, you can be inside or outside. There is lot's of different things to do and then as an added benefit you get free tickets to the Sunday night Long Day's Night which is Matinee which is a great band out of Vancouver."

Those who wish to volunteer with family or friends can do so and they can be put in the same spot so that they can volunteer together.
