The incident occurred last Saturday when the RCMP was notified that a teenager brought a pistol to a school within the city.

He appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court on Tuesday and again Friday morning, where he was released to his parents on house arrest.

The conditions of the release also include an order not to return to the school property and not to possess any weapons or intoxicating substances.
