The Janie and Helen Rempel Community Garden opened at 1150 Walker St E in Swift Current last July and has been a popular place for people in the city to plant their vegetables or flowers, or just sit in if they're walking along the Swift Current Creek.

The community garden was made possible by a donation from S3 Enterprises, who are hosting a free Mother's Day pancake breakfast there on Sunday. Joel Gallant, the General Manager of S3, joined Colin this morning to talk about it.

You can get more details about the Janie and Helen Rempel Community Garden and rent a plot there through the City of Swift Current.
