The biggest night in Canadian music happened with the 2018 Juno Awards in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday.
Shawn Mendes picked up a couple of awards, Single of the Year for "There's Nothing Holding Me Back" and the Junos Fan Choice Award, while newcomer Jessie Reyez took home the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award, and Lights won Pop Album of the Year for Skin & Earth. However, the night belonged to the late Gord Downie as the Tragically Hip frontman, who passed away in October, posthumously won three awards including Artist of the Year.
