I was on holidays for the last week, and the highlight was a quick two-day trip I made to Alberta on Thursday and Friday.
I started my trip in Drumheller, where I visited the Hoodoos and the Royal Tyrell Museum for the first time. Both those places were very busy, now that dinosaurs are cool again thanks to the big success of Jurassic World this summer.
I got into Calgary that evening and made a trip through downtown and the Calgary Tower, which I haven't been to in about 25 years. The view from up there is amazing!
Friday morning, I made a trip through Calgary Zoo, another place there that I haven't been to in a long time. It was neat seeing all the different animals there, and I got up close and personal with a peacock.
I wrapped up my trip with a stop at Canada Olympic Park and Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. If you're a sports fan, it is a place that you must visit in Calgary.
