Thursday morning at 7am ~ W.W. Smith Insurance Centennial Breakfast at Market Square Courtyard and for $2.00 you get Pancakes, sausages, juice & coffee. Then at 8am Frontier Days kick-off Burning of the Frontier Days Brand! Entertainment from The Midnight Roses as well as Candace from the Morning Show will be Broadcasting Live.
We will be Broadcasting LIVE from the Sterling Trailers RV located on the grounds during Frontier Days. Make sure to stop by and say hello and enter into the draws for some great prizes!
On Saturday at 10am it is the 2014 Swift Current Frontier Days Parade Round-up. We will be Broadcasting LIVE from the roof-top of Golden West Radio to get a great view of all the floats, marching bands, horsedrawn stage coach, cowboys & cowgirls and so many more entries.
THE PARADE ROUTE: Parade will start on 19th Ave N.E. (West entrance of the Credit Union i-plex North parking lot) then West on Chaplin St, North on 9th Ave N.E. (Elmwood Park) and then West on Herbert St (Swift Current Shrine Club Hall), South on Central Ave N (Post Office) and then East on Cheadle St (Subway) and South on 2nd Ave N.E. (Over pass) and West on McIntosh St (South end of St Joe's School) and South onto Central Ave S (Prairie Pioneer Lodge) and then Parade ends at Gibbs St (South end of the Palliser Regional Care Centre).
On Saturday there is a Centennal Homecoming 2014 Park & Ride Services available as well as Late Night Bus Service.
Hours for the Fair Grounds (North Gates) are: Thursday 4pm - 12:00am, Friday to Sunday 12 noon - 12:00am. The West & South Gates are open to public for the Livestock Shows. Admission into the Fair Grounds is $5.00 for Adults/Students, 10 and under if Free. You will be able to purchase Ride passes and concert tickets at the gates as well as inside the grounds.
