I guess you could say I know a little about blood transfusions. When I was a baby I was born severely depleted of blood. Not only did I need one blood transfusion but seven, which ultimately helped save my life. At that time, in an instant, my parents learned just how important the Canadian Blood Services were. I heard that story many times and grew up hearing how important it is to donate blood and how lucky I was! It’s true, I really was lucky and it did help save my life. You just never know…whether you may need it, someone you love or to help someone else, it’s a small sacrifice to take time to donate. Your donation can help save a life. The Blood Donor Clinic is tomorrow until 3pm at the Bridgeway Community Church. Spaces are available tomorrow afternoon, so please call 1-888-236-6283 to donate.
