Did you get a chance to go the Hometown Hockey Festival in Regina? My son is a HUGE hockey fan so it made perfect sense for us to head to Regina for the 22nd stop of Roger’s Hometown Hockey - a fun free weekend-long outdoor hockey festival!
What wasn't there to love about this event? There were tons of giveaways including "Hometown Hockey" gloves, touques and jerseys. Tents were set up to look like lodges but were completley decked out with x-box systems, hockey games and activities for the kids. NHL Alumni were on hand to sign autographs and take photos with fans. It was a jam-packed hockey event but my son's favourite part by far, was ball hockey! Kids just had to grab what hockey gear was available and start playing! Mason had so much fun playing in net on Saturday that we just had to return Sunday for more! It was a good thing that they had cozy tents and hot chocolate so I could keep warm, as I watched all Sunday afternoon.
It was a fun place for hockey fans of all ages to bond and talk hockey! When this event tours around Canada next year we WILL be there!
