What an honor to have Juno award winner Mitch Dorge in the studio yesterday.

Mitch, drummer with the Crash Test Dummies, is in Swift Current all week to talk about making informed life decision with local students.

Presented by The Co-operators, his "In Your Face and Interactive" presentation takes Mitch's unique, thought-provoking talk about responsible decision making to schools across Canada.

The presentation is tailored to the needs of participating schools, and topics can range from drug & alcohol awareness, peer pressure, driving safety, bullying, and goal setting.

His schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:
Wednesday, Sept 24 - 9-11am at Ecole Centennial School
Wednesday, Sept 24 - 1-3pm at Maverick School

Friday, Sept 26 - 10:30am-12pm & 1:50-3:20pm at the Comp

A lengthy (and entertaining!) interview between Mitch & Candace aired on Magic 97 yesterday - but one of the completely unexpected parts of the interview, pertaining to the Crash Test Dummies, can be heard here.

On tap for today...

Fall into Christmas is fast approaching. We have prizes to give away from a show vendor this morning and every weekday morning until the show gets underway at Kinetic Park.
