Swift Current Mall will be host to the fifth annual Sensory Santa meeting on December 4th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Sensory Santa is a chance for children with sensitivities to meet Santa Claus in a more comfortable environment. During the meeting, the mall and its stores will be closed, the lights will be dimmed and the music will be turned off.
Penny Schreiner talked with Arden Fiala of the Saskatchewan Families for Effective Autism Treatment (SaskFEAT), who has helped organize the Sensory Santa meetings.
Parents who are interested need to book their child's meeting with Santa in advance by emailing Arden at [email protected].
