Fall into Christmas was held in Swift Current on the weekend, which again brought a large number of vendors and shoppers into the Stockade Building at Kinetic Exhibition Park. Christmas may be a little under three months away, but it was a good way to get into the holiday spirit on what was a rainy, cool weekend.
Another thing that could make you think about Christmas is a little bit of snow, which the Cypress Hills got on Sunday.
Snow in October anywhere in Saskatchewan certainly isn't unheard of. My grandfather once said "You can't count on a white Christmas, but you can almost always get a white Thanksgiving around here."
It looks like the weather will actually be great for the Thanksgiving long weekend, and Magic 97's 10th Anniversary celebration. Join us on October 10th at 10:00am from Market Square for cake, a barbecue and some special guests, as well as the grand finale to Making Magic, where you could win a $3000 CAA Travel Voucher sponsored by Canadian Tire!
