The Great Plains College SunDogs athletic program is hosting the Dog's Breakfast, a fundraising breakfast on January 31 at the Sky Centre, with special guest speaker Karl Subban.

Karl served as the principal of a school in one of Toronto's roughest neighbourhoods, and is the father of NHL players PK, Malcolm and Jordan Subban. He is also the co-author of "How We Did It: The Subban Plan for Success in Hockey, School and Life."

In addition, there is a raffle for a chance to win a getaway to Marble Canyon in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC, and a ticket package to the 100th Memorial Cup in Regina that will be drawn for on February 1.

Mona Patterson, Athletics Director for Great Plains College, joined Colin on the Redhead Equipment Magic Morning Show on Tuesday to talk about the event.

Tickets for the breakfast are available at the Great Plains College Swift Current Campus or by calling 306-773-1531. Tickets for the raffles are also available at the college, at the breakfast or at Mercator Financial in Swift Current.
