The storm has claimed a few motorists evenings, sending them into the ditch.

Intense winds of up to 70 kilometres per hour are giving lighter vehicles ample reason to slow down on the slippery highway. 

Travellers are advised to proceed at reduced speeds down Highway 32 or to avoid travelling for the remainder of the freezing sleet storm. Anyone is is venturing out into the snow should check the Highway Hotline to avoid any major incidents.
