Mark Stone of the Brandon Wheat Kings opened the scoring 5 minutes in, and it was all Canada from that point  as Canada shutout the Czech Republic 5-0 last night in their second game of the World Junior Hockey Championship.

Winnipeg Jets prospect Mark Scheiffle had a pair of goals, while Ryan Strome, former Prince George Cougar Brett Connolly, and Saskatchewan born product Jaden Schwartz put in the other markers.

Scott Wedgewood earned the win in net for Canada, making 26 saves.

Next action for the boys is tonight when they play Denmark, and we'll have that game for you on The Eagle 94.1 beginning at 6:30 pm.
