Residents of Rockglen have been voicing concern this week over telephone problems during episodes of Canadian Idol.

As soon as the voting lines open for the show, phone service for that community grinds to a halt because everyone from that area is trying to vote for Tyler Lewis who calls Rockglen home and is competing on the show.

She says that if an emergency occurs while phone lines are blocked, the only way to reach 911 would be through a cell phone.
