The Saskatchewan government has released its updated five-year plan for highway construction.

 

Minister of Highways and Infrastructure Jim Reiter explains:

 

 

Reiter says the plan is important for a couple of reasons:

 

 

There are several construction projects underway on southwest Saskatchewan highways right now.  They include the Highway 1 and 4 interchange in Swift Current, the Trans-Canada Highway east of the city, Highway 13 between Shaunavon and Eastend, and Highway 32 from Cabri to the Leader/Lancer area.
