We're just over a month away from the first big event of 2019 in Swift Current as the city gets set to host Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada from February 6 to 9!

The four-day festival culminates with the free outdoor festival and live Sportsnet broadcast from Riverdene Park, but a number of big events are planned for the week including "The Music of Hockey Day" at the Living Sky Casino Events Centre on Feb 6 featuring performances from Bryan Trottier and the Hunter Brothers, and the Hockey Day in Canada Banquet the following night hosted by Sportsnet Central's Ken Reid and Evanka Osmak, with special guests Ron MacLean, Don Cherry and the Stanley Cup.

Chris Keleher from the Hockey Day in Canada committee joined Colin on the Magic Morning Show to talk about those events.

Tickets to the all-ages "Music of Hockey Day" event are $20, and banquet tickets are available for $25 for youth and $50 for adults at City Hall and Pharmasave.
