In today's update from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting a total of 67 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 82,334 reported cases. 

Of the new cases, 2 are located in the North West zone, 2 in the North East zone, 29 in the Saskatoon zone, 4 in the Central West zone, 5 in the Central East zone, 13 in the Regina zone, and 4 in the South East zone. 

There was one new case in the South West zone, located in South West subzone 2. 

There are 7 new cases with pending residence information. 

There are 556 cases are considered active and 80,835 cases are considered recovered. 

More than two-fifth (46.3%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39. 

More than one-half (56.5.%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 5 years and older) were fully vaccinated. 

As of today, a total of 98 individuals are hospitalized, including 67 inpatient hospitalizations and 31 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 98 patients, 58 (59.2%) were not fully vaccinated. 

There was 1 new death reported in the province. 

943 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%. 

To date, 1 312 633 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.  

There were 770 COVID-19 vaccines administered, 31 of those in the South West zone. 

That brings the provincial total number of vaccinations given to 1 787 369. 

There are now 850 6038 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated.
