As the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current celebrates its centennial this year, the facility will look to continue its growth by hiring a new executive director.
"Our membership at our last general meeting decided that we would hire an executive director that would help with running the programming, applying for grants, sponsorships, marketing and the overall running of the business," said Gwen Uher, chair of the Southwest Cultural Development Group.
Uher added it became apparent to the board and it's membership they would need to create the position to accomodate future programs at the Lyric.
Applications for the position can be found at the Lyric's website, and the organization is hoping to have the vacancy filled by March 1st.
