After two important games on Wednesday, the future of Western Major Baseball Leauge playoffs has become more clear.

The Yorkton Cardinals won their series-ending game against the Regina Red Sox 6-1. The win will mean the Indians stay in Swift Current to face the Cardinals in game one of the second-round series.

Also on Wednesday,  the Okotoks Dawgs fell 10-5 to the Edmonton Prospects, advancing the Prospects to the second round of playoffs. The Prospects will face the Medicine Hat Mavericks tomorrow evening in Edmonton.

The final winners of the best-of-five Mavericks v. Prospects and Cardinals v. Indians series will face each other in the final round of WMBL playoffs.

The first game for the Indians will be Friday night in Swift Current at 7:05 p.m from Mitchell Field. Game two will be Saturday at 7:05 p.m., also in Swift Current.
