In the July 13th COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting 27 new cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 27 new cases, 5 are in Far North West, 10 in Far North East, 3 in North West, 2 in Saskatoon, 2 in Central East, 1 in Regina, 1 in South West, and 3 in South East zone. 

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 49,304, of which 375 are considered active.

There are 15 active cases and 1 new case in the South West zone  - all in the South West subzone 2.

No new deaths were reported. 

There were 47 recoveries reported, bringing that provincial total to 48,356.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 44 (3.6 new cases per 100,000 population).

There are 57 people in the hospital. Forty-seven are receiving inpatient care: North West, 5; North Central, 5; Saskatoon, 20; Central East, 2; Regina, 13; and South East, 2.

Ten are in intensive care: North West, 1; North Central, 1; Saskatoon, 4; and Regina, 4.

To date, 937,084 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 1,234 COVID-19 tests processed.

There were 78 new lineage results reported for Variants of Concern today.

Of the 7,747 VOCs with lineages identified by whole genome sequencing in Saskatchewan, 6,952 are Alpha (B.1.1.7), 408 are Gamma (P.1), 377 are Delta (B.1.617.2) and 10 are Beta (B.1.351).

An additional 2,419 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number administered to 1,307,065.

Of the 2,419 vaccine doses given, there were 17 administered in the South West zone.

Seventy-three percent of those 12 and over have received their first vaccine dose, and 55% of those 12 and over are fully vaccinated.
