The road was not friendly to the K-Motel Midget 'AA' Broncos over the weekend.

Playing a pair of games away from Swift Current, the Broncos fell 8-2 in Notre Dame against the Argos, before dropping a 5-4 decision in Regina against the Vics.

Despite outshooting the Argos 31-30 in Notre Dame, penalty trouble provided too many problems for Swift Current.

The Broncos took a total of 14 penalties in the contest, which led to 6 power-play goals for the Argos.

Dryden Smith had a power-play goal for Swift Current, while Rhett Stevenson scored short-handed for Swift Current.

Stevenson also picked up an assist on Smith's goal.

Looking to bounce back in Regina, once again, penalty trouble caused major issues for Swift Current.

The Broncos were called for 11 penalties in their second game of the weekend, which led to 3 power-play goals for the Vics.

Despite the loss, Stevenson continued his strong weekend, tallying two more short-handed goals against Regina for a four-point weekend.

Brock Herter and Tristen Sulz also found the back of the net for the Broncos.

With the two losses, Swift Current has now dropped their last four games after opening the season with a win.

The Broncos will try and snap their four-game skid this weekend when they host the Melville Millionaires.
