Die hard Taylor Swift fans are well aware that the re recorded Fearless Album (Taylor's Version) is far more than a gift from the singer during quarentine.

It is in fact a move made by Swift in an effort to own her body of work after Scooter Braun bought her master tapes and she was not afforded the oppertuniy to purchase them back.

As the new Fearless album (Taylor's Version) hit the internet, fans are working hard to bury the old Fearless album on streaming services becasue lets be honest, Taylor didnt do all that for us to listen to the old one.

An account by the name of @swifferupdates shared a method of hiding the old songs on Spotify.

The instructions explain,

"Tap the three dots next to each track and ad select 'hide this song' from the options that pop up.

The idea behind hiding the old tracks is to make sure they don't accidentally stream an old version of a song, which would put money into the pocket of Swift's former label, Big Machine Records.

The instructions are "For Swifties who want to heed Taylor's call to stop supporting her old albums ... it's pretty much mandatory." Jeva Lange, from TMZ wrote.
