The Swift Current Broncos get their second shot at the East Division-leading Pats tonight in Regina.

With only two regulation losses so far this season the Pats are considered a championship contender and their coach John Paddock attributes a lot of that to balance.

Paddock said, "Well we've got good balance up front you get 8 or 9 forwards that are productive players and our first three defencemen out all have lots of experience in the league, lots of ability so when you have a good defence which I believe is one of Swift Currents strengths, then you have a good team."

The Pats beat the Broncos 6-3 on Sunday before an overtime win over Kootenay on Tuesday and an overtime loss in Lethbridge on Wednesday.

Swift Current has been off since Sunday's game.

The Broncos will then host Lethbridge tomorrow.

Listen to both games live on The Eagle 94.1 with Robertson Family Group Broncos Hockey at 6:30pm.
