The playoff winning streak continued last night for the Swift Current Indians.

The second game of the WMBL Finals, and 8th game in a row, was taken by the Tribe, this time 2-1.

A 2-run first inning proved to be key for Swift, with RBIs from Alec Humphreys and Liam Goodall in the bottom of the first frame.

The home team then leaned on their pitching to hold the slim lead.

Starting pitcher Bobby St. Pierre trimmed his already minuscule ERA down to 1.71 runs against, giving up one run in the 7-inning outing.

Games 3 and potentially 4, if necessary, head to Edmonton.

The Indians look to polish off an impressive August run with a WMBL title to their name.

Game 3 goes tonight at 7:05.
