winter warning

The snow started moving in overnight, and we're to expect more of it for much of the weekend.

All of southwest Saskatchewan is under a winter storm warning, as a storm moves into Saskatchewan from Alberta. Up to 15 centimetres of snow is expected to fall by tomorrow morning, and strong winds of up to 70 kilometres per hour will move the snow around and reduce visibility at times.

Make sure to keep up to date on the latest road and weather conditions before heading out today. You can call the Highway Hotline at 1-888-335-7623, or click the road report link on Swift Current Online.
