The 18U AAA 57's hosted the Regina Athletics for a Wednesday afternoon double-header at Kinsmen Field, with both teams earning a W.

Swift Current got rolling in the opener, bringing the mercy rule into play in a 12-1 five-inning win.

Brock Wall pitched a complete game, striking out six batters. Ethan Murdoch went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI, while Nolan Klein was 2-for-4 with a game-high three RBI.

Then in the second game, the Regina A's topped the 18U AAA 57's 18-14. Brody Alexandre ripped a grand slam in the loss for Swift.

The 18U AAA 57's play two double-headers at Mitchell Field this weekend, hosting the Muenster Red Sox on Saturday and the Regina A's again on Sunday.
