The 2013 edition of Wishmakers Walk for Wishes is coming to Swift Current.
The Wishmaker Walk for Wishes is the single and most important fund raising event for the Children's Wish Foundation.
"Our Wishmaker Walk for Wishes is a national fund raising event that the Children's Wish Foundation holds all across Canada." Said Development Coordinator and Provincial Walk Coordinator Deanne Guest.
Each year thousands of Canadian children between the ages of three and 17 are diagnosed with a life threatening illness and the foundation hopes to grant over 100 wishes in Saskatchewan.
"All money goes to granting wishes. An actual wish is approximately ten thousand dollars to grant." Said Guest.
The walk will be in Swift Current on October 5th at Riverside Park.
