The Abilities Council held their annual Client Christmas Banquet, celebrating their clients and the many years of service to the Swift Current Branch.

"Eleven individuals were recognized for their many years of hard work and dedicated loyal service. Long service awards were presented for many years of service, ranging from 11 years to 45 years," said Saskatchewan Abilities Community Relations Coordinator, Jessica Sauder.

Sauder adds the Abilities Council offers a number of programs within the Swift Current Branch for those with disabilities.

"We offer work experience that is available in commercial sewing, recycling, wood products, and maintenance. Other individuals that come here in our quality of life center, and that provides the opportunity for community connection, personal development, and recreational activity," she explained.

The banquet featured a supper, presentations, and a big dance to follow.
