A man recently charged with killing a woman in a two-vehicle collision back in October is to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court this morning.

Fifty-six-year-old Ronald Plummer is charged with second-degree murder for the October 7 death of Lesa Zoerb, and aggravated assault for an incident earlier that day.

Both Plummer and Zoerb are from Maple Creek, and the collision happened two kilometres north of town on Highway 21.

Plummer appeared Friday morning in Saskatoon Provincial Court but had his matter moved to Swift Current.

He suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision.

Plummer turned 56 four days after the collision. Zoerb was 50 years old.
