A local dental clinic helped fill a charity's coffers.
Anchor Dental Group held their 4th annual charity day on Thursday with the money going towards Southwest Homes.
"We just kind of pick a different charity every time," said Dr. David Stock. "Find a local cause and just give them some support."
100% of Thursday's revenue at the clinic went to Southwest Homes.
"People are kind of happy that they're money is going to good causes," Stock said. "We certainly enjoy it. Makes it a little bit more fun to be at work on a day when you know you're helping somebody out.... I'd just lake to challenge anyone else to donate a day of their time to a good cause if they can."
They raised $4043.56 that Southwest Homes will use towards the purchase of another van for its clients.
Southwest Homes exists to provide supports and services to individuals with an Intellectual Disability.
They offer a variety of residential and vocational programs that consider each individual's strengths and needs for children as well as adults.
