Weather records continue to fall in Swift Current.

With temperatures exceeding the 30-degree mark, the city has broken a 33-year-old record high of 30.6 degrees set back in 1976.

Just yesterday, Swift Current broke a 30-year-old record high after clocking in at 30 degrees.

Other southwest communities hit highs well into the thirties over the past few days. Maple Creek was Saskatchewan's hot spot yesterday at 32.3 degrees, and it was 34.2 just down the road in Medicine Hat, which came in as Canada's warmest community.

The hot weather is expected to continue as we head into the final weekend of summer.
