The deadline for Multiple Sclerosis patients in Saskatchewan to submit their application to try and get in for a clinical trial of the Liberation Treatment in New York has now passed.

The Ministry of Health received a total of 682 applicants since opening up the process, and only 86 patients will be accepted into the program and will be selected over the next several months. The first group will make their way to Albany in March.

Saskatchewan has been at the forefront of bringing this treatment to Canada and sending patients to the trials could be a first step.
