ABI Partnership Grants

Applications are now open for the Acquired Brain Injury Partnership Project Community Grants, which are being offered through a partnership with SGI and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health to organizations looking to receive funding for a variety of reasons."

"It can be anywhere from law enforcement or EMS that want to run a bike rodeo and they need some seed money to buy some helmets," said Kelly Froehlich, Provincial Acquired Brain Injury Education and Prevention Coordinator. "A high school may want to bring in a speaker or the MADD or SADD groups we will fund those sort of activities."

Froehlich says over the last 17 years that the grant has been offered, close to $2 million has been contributed toward 2000 different projects organized by schools, MADD, SADD, law enforcement and people with acquired brain injuries.
