A young man and a teen now face several charges after an attempted masked robbery in Gull Lake.

 

On Sunday night, just after nine o'clock, Gull Lake RCMP received a 911 call of two masked individuals with weapons attempting to enter a Gull Lake home.

 

RCMP were on patrol nearby and responded as two individuals fled on foot. No entrance to the residence was gained and the homeowner was unharmed. Police arrested one man near the scene and the second individual, a 15 year old youth, was arrested Monday morning.

 

Justice Countryman, 20 years old from Gull Lake, is charged with attempted robbery, disguise with intent and four counts of failing to comply with a court order.

 

Countryman appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court and was remanded until October 19th.

 

The 15 year old youth also appeared in Swift Current Court and was remanded until September 30th. The youth faces charges of attempted robbery, disguise with intent, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
