Tompkins product Brayden Sumner becomes the fourth player from the Pure Chem Bantam AA Broncos' 2019-20 roster to be selected in the 2020 SJHL Bantam Draft.

Sumner was drafted in the fourth round (39th overall) by the Notre Dame Hounds.

Sumner had a knack for finding the back of the net in his draft-eligible season - the lone with the Bantam Broncos.

The forward had 34 regular-season goals, which was second-best on the team. Sumner added 18 assists for 52 total points while playing in all 31 games. He added a goal and three points in three playoff contests for Swift Current as well.

He gets selected by a Hounds team that finished in third-last place in the league with 44 points and an 18-32-5-3 record, falling short of the playoffs.
