Recently-resigned Kindersley MLA Bill Boyd is in more hot water now.

The former minister of economy for the province faces charges dealing with alteration of shoreline, wildlife habitat and ecological lands near his hometown of Eston.

One charge is under the Wildlife Habitat Protection Act, and the other three fall under the Environmental Management and Protection Act.

Earlier this week Premier Brad Wall kicked him from the Saskatchewan Party caucus after the Ron Barclay - the province's conflict-of-interest commissioner - said Boyd was misrepresenting himself in his dealings with a Chinese business.

Boyd is scheduled to appear in Kindersley provincial court on October 10.
