You may have to think again about a proper place to dispose of your cardboard.

It was announced on Thursday that the city's recycle depot is unable to receive cardboard due to a downturn in market conditions.

The city is assuring its residents that they are actively pursuing alternate arrangements for proper recycling of cardboard, among other waste materials.

Unfortunately, cardboard collection is not expected to resume in the near future, so residents will have to resort to disposing of excess cardboard in their regular waste collection.
