After a whole summer full of events all over southwestern Saskatchewan and many people entering bids at those events the Quad giveaway has come to a conclusion with Brandi Linder as the winner of the monster quad.

Three hundred names were pulled and many more people were in attendance for the final draw that happened at Robertson Motorsports and Marine.

At 1:30 p.m. today, with everyone gathered, the Big Wheel of Winning was brought out with the four colors, blue, yellow, green, and pink. The wheel was spun and the first color the wheel landed on was taken off and eliminated.

Now with yellow gone, there are only three left, blue, pink, and green, there was lots of suspense on which color was going to be next.

After green was eliminated all the colors were ripped off revealing the black and red dots underneath. People were then asked to choose a side of the building, black or red. Once everyone chose they spun the wheel, this time whichever color it lands on didn't get eliminated, with that color being black.

At this point, everyone who was standing on the black side of the building was asked to put their name into the bin. Once everyone's names were in contestants names were pulled out one by one, once it got down to the last fifteen - that's when second-prize gifts containing a variety of prizes were handed out until it got down to the last two names.

Now with only two names in the bucket, Melanie was there playing for Justin Hughes and Brandi Linder.

After the big win for Linder, we were able to get a few words from her explaining what she felt at that moment.

"Shock. [With] my mom passing away, and it's just really hard being at home and I thought what are the chances of actually winning it. Even just to go out and to get a few minutes out of the house with dad," Linder continued. "Everyone's names kept getting called and even at the end there was a lady there with a little bit of confusion and I thought 'maybe.'"
