Friends and family laid a respected member of the community to rest this afternoon.

     Chuck Thomson had been involved with many organizations in Swift Current since 1985.  He was the Owner and Manager of Total Husky, the Owner and Manager of Grasslands Training Group, and was the Director of Operations at Stark and Marsh since 1999.

     Thomson was also part of the Chamber of Commerce, Action Southwest, Action Swift Current, the Museum, and was heavily involved in the Arts and Cultural scene.

     Friends say Thomson also enjoyed coaching his kids' sports teams.
