Swift Current Light and Power crews will be back out early this April, as they continue to upgrade powerline infrastructure in the city.
The areas where the conversion is taking place this spring include the southern tip of the city's downtown, 5th Ave NE from North Railway to Herbert Street, and 6th Ave NE from Herbert to George Street.
City Light and Power Director Mitch Minken is reminding residents to keep an eye out for crews as the work is taking place.
Minken adds the conversion work will continue for the next five years, with a focus on the downtown core.
