The Swift Current City RCMP are on the lookout for a thief from late September.

According to a police report, sometime between September 25 and September 27 a vehicle on the 400 block of Laurier Drive was broken into in Swift Current and a wallet and fishing gear was taken.

During 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. on September 27, the suspect then used a credit and debit card from the stolen wallet at two local businesses and a taxi company.

RCMP say the suspect was described as a Caucasian male, average height, and carrying a yellow backpack.
