City-Wide Registration is coming up, while the outdoor rinks are not quite ready to shut down yet.

Dean Robson, Director of Recreation and Parks, says the City's five outdoor rinks are in great condition and will stay open for as long as winter conditions hold up.

Robson says the ice is in good shape, especially with the mild weather, and says the warm temperatures should not affect the quality of the ice this weekend.

Spring and Summer activities are being planned in the city, and the 13th Annual Spring and Summer City-Wide Registration is once again fast-approaching.

Nola Smith, Recreation and Parks Clerk, says registration is being held at the Credit Union iplex Auditorium on March 10th and 11th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm both nights.

Smith adds that getting involved in an organized program is a good way to be active over the summer.
