A brief update for Swift Current's municipal election was shared by the city yesterday.

Nobody has filed nomination papers for the Holy Trinity Catholic School Division trustee position yet.

There are three trustee positions with the Chinook School Division up for grabs and so far the city has had three people file for those.

City council has had nine candidates file, while Swift Current Online has reported 11 candidates are involved in that race.

And there are two mayoral candidates that have submitted their paperwork.
