The Swift Current Senior Colts Volleyball squad made short work of the competition last weekend, taking three in a row at the Regina Campbell C.I.T tournament.

They plowed through their round-robin pool; taking three straight over teams from Saskatoon's Holy Cross and E.D. Feehan, as well as Regina's Winston Knoll.

Heading into the quarter-finals, they'd face Balgonie and down them in two straight sets 25-17 and 25-15.

They'd tee off against Regina Campbell in the semis and come away with similar results, downing the queen city in straight sets of 25-11 and 25-19.

The finals would pit them against Saskatoon Centennial; and while the bridge city ballers would pack more of a punch, putting up 19 and 20 points respectively in their two sets against the Colts, in the end, the Colts would bend but not break; taking the tournament's first-place finish.

Meanwhile, for the Grade 9 Colts, it was a more local affair, as a five-team tournament became a three-team round-robin between the Comp Colts, Ecole Centennial Stars and OM Irwin Ice. The Colts would go unbeaten in the ad hoc friendly tournament, taking all four of their games. The Stars would take the first game against OM Irwin but would split the second.
