There's been a major development in the Logan Ring murder case this morning.

Two of the accused consented to commital of offences.

Todd Donaldson is expected to be sentenced for manslaughter on February 5.

And Jolene Epp will be sentenced for accessory after the fact to murder at some point - but the date has to be arranged with the Queen's Bench registrar.

Ring's body was found at Saskatchewan Landing in November of 2016.

Five people were charged with second-degree murder, including Donaldson, Epp, Rebecca Kuhlman, Collin Perrault, and Tanisha Perrault.

Kuhlman has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Collin and Tanisha Perrault still have their matters before the courts.

There's a publication ban on details that have come up in court.
