Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be coming through Swift Current again this year.

"Once again the Canadian Pacific train program is traveling across Canada for the 16th year," said Spokesperson with C-P Rail, Salem Woodrew. "Raising money, food and awareness for local food banks and hunger issues since 1999. The holiday train program has raised close to 9.5 million dollars and 3.3 million pounds of food for North American food banks."

Woodrew tells us about this year's entertainment.

"This year and coming through Saskatchewan folks are going to see the Odds, who are returning to the Holiday Train. They have traveled with us before and they are a Canadian Pop Rock band that achieved a lot of commercial success in the 1990. Most recently folks might remember them from the TV show corner Gas where they did the opening song; as well traveling with us we have Roxanne Potvin."

The Holiday Train is set to come through Swift Current before stopping in Moose Jaw and Mortlach, December 6th at 12:15pm. The Train will then travel to Maple Creek for 3:15pm.
