The August long weekend is coming up and people will be heading to their favourite destination to do some camping.

Brandt Siefert, Superintendent for Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, says they expect a full house this weekend, just like any long weekend. He adds all of the reserve-a-sites are booked for the weekend.

Siefert adds the summer has been busy at the park so far, with a few weekends where they had to move some campers to overflow.

There is also no fire ban in effect at the park, and campers will be allowed to have a campfire.
